An Unconventional Move for Tudor
Known more for its steady collections than exclusivity, Tudor has taken an unexpected turn with the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Pink.” Limited to just 300 examples, this vibrant model celebrates the brand’s partnership with the legendary Giro d’Italia cycling race. It’s the second limited release from Tudor this month—a significant shift for the Swiss watchmaker.

Cycling Spirit Captured in Detail
The inspiration behind this edition is the Maglia Rosa, the iconic pink jersey worn by Giro champions. Unlike the standard “Cycling Edition” that featured red accents, this version offers pink detailing inside its chronograph subdials and along its woven fabric strap. The back of the case features an engraving of three cyclists and a unique serial number, reinforcing its collectible appeal.

Technical Backbone: Tried and True
While the aesthetics have shifted, the internals remain unchanged. The Pelagos FXD Chrono “Pink” features a robust carbon composite case, titanium crown, and pushers. Its mechanical heart, the Caliber MT5813, beats at 4Hz, offering precision timekeeping with a column wheel and vertical clutch system. It’s the same movement used in other Tudor chronographs, offering solid performance and reliability.

A Collector’s Opportunity
This isn’t Tudor’s flashiest innovation, but its extreme rarity adds a layer of allure. For collectors and cycling fans alike, the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Pink” presents a unique fusion of sport and craftsmanship—especially at a consistent $5,600 price point.
