Rolex Introduces the Land-Dweller: A New Chapter in Luxury Watches

At Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025, Rolex unveiled an exciting addition to its lineup—the Rolex Land-Dweller. Officially known as the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, this timepiece bridges the gap between the brand’s Professional and Classic collections, offering a fresh take on modern luxury.
A Balance of Sporty and Elegant

Designed as a middle ground between the Datejust and Rolex’s more rugged sports watches, the Land-Dweller features a thin case, integrated bracelet, and a refined movement. It is available in White Rolesor (steel & 18k white gold), Everose gold, and platinum, with two size options: 40mm and 36mm. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, ensuring durability alongside its sleek aesthetic.
Innovative Dial and Bracelet Design

A standout feature of the Land-Dweller is its honeycomb-patterned dial, precision-cut using femtosecond laser technology for a unique texture. The dial includes Chromalight luminescent markers and hands, enhancing legibility in low light. Rolex also introduces the Flat Jubilee bracelet, a modern evolution of the classic Oysterquartz five-piece link design, complete with a concealed Crownclasp.
Groundbreaking Movement with a Transparent Caseback

For the first time in Rolex history, the Land-Dweller features a transparent sapphire crystal caseback, revealing the advanced Rolex Calibre 7135. This movement debuts the Dynapulse escapement, an innovation that enhances efficiency using dual escape wheels. Operating at 5Hz and offering a 66-hour power reserve, it marks a major leap in Rolex’s watchmaking technology.
Pricing and Availability
The 36mm White Rolesor model starts at $13,900 USD, with prices reaching $63,500 USD for the 40mm platinum version. With its sleek design and revolutionary movement, the Rolex Land-Dweller is set to be one of the most sought-after releases of 2025.
